Recall that Elegant ladies club ASABA, similarly,  donated 30 pillows for the same Drugs Rehabilitation Center at the palace of His Royal Majesty.   HRM Asagba Prof. Azinge in earlier hours of today received a delegation from ASDEV 81 Club UK chapter in his palace.   His Royal Majesty appreciated ASDEV 81 Club Uk Chapter for the wonderful show of solidarity towards the developmental trajectory of Asaba. He directed that the sienna space bus donated by the club be decorated and written donated by ASDEV 81, CLUB UK CHAPTER, showcasing the contribution of the club to the community and also a medium to encourage other clubs and associations to emulate the show of solidarity of Asdev 81 club of Asaba.   Earlier, the delegation ably led by Ogbueshi Chidozie Okonkwo presented a sienna space bus to HRM Asagba Prof Azinge on behalf of ASDEV 81, club explaining that the contribution of the space bus is to show that the club supports the numerous reforms and policies of His Royal Majesty.   He emphasized that ASDEV 81 Club after long deliberations highlighted that the security enhancement ideas of HRM and the Asaba drugs rehabilitation Centre are two very important subjects the club needs to support.   The highlight of the ceremony was the official handover of the key to HRM Asagba Prof. Azinge by ASDEV 81 CLUB and Immediate handover by HRM Asagba Azinge to Asaba Drug and Rehabilitation Committee in his palace. We note with appreciation to  His Royal Majesty, Prof . Epiphany Azinge, for the nomination of  Ogbueshi Dr. Ify Uraih ( Husband of Mrs Mary Uraih ) for the Conferment of the prestigious Olinzele title on him.. We say a big congratulation to our very own, Mrs Mary Uraih and to her loving husband, Ogbueshi Dr. Ify Uraih.. His Majesty made this remarks when he  received members of the Elegant Club of Asaba in his palace on December 15, 2025.   Nna Agu emphasized the importance of women’s independence, noting that they should always introduce themselves confidently, rather than hiding behind their husbands’ or fathers’ names. He commended Asaba women for their resilience and contributions to the community, particularly Asaba Massacre during the civil war in Nigeria.   HRM Asagba Azinge praised the Elegant Ladies Club for their ongoing project, which includes skill acquisition center for rehabilitating girls and donation of 30 pillows to the Asaba Drug Rehabilitation Centre. He urged them to continue advocating against illicit drug use and promoting peace, harmony, and unity.   Speaking earlier, Chief Mrs Patricia Onianwa, Ezioyi Ahaba on behalf of the Elegant Ladies Club of Asaba commiserated with the Monarch on the demise of late Odogwu Ahaba, Obi Chief Peter Nwanze Oduah and late Ogwulujame Ahaba, Chief Anthony Molokwu. She notified Nna Agu that they celebrated their 40th anniversary since the club was birthed and highlighted their achievements which includes: 1. Ongoing Project which consists of a skill acquisition centre for rehabilitating street girls. 2. Visit to Orphanage Homes. 3. Donation of 30 pillows to the Asaba Drug Rehabilitation Centre   Ezioyi Ahaba also informed His Majesty that the club has changed their name and greetings to “Onyemesike….Ngozi Eluè Aka” and promised to collaborate with the Asaba Drugs Prohibition Committee whenever they are called upon.
